Secret Knock To Enter

Son John's course project (a team effort) is a device that twists open the deadbolt lock. Shirley and I received a demo tonight. Quite an impressive assembly.

A button on the logic board must be pushed to program a knock pattern. Then, whenever that same knock pattern is sensed by a special microphone a motor is energized and the deadbolt gets opened.

The guys on this team should earn an "A" for their project grade. This entire effort was a challenge for these guys.
