These were recommended by a Wound Care expert at work. (I do have developing peripheral neuropathy.) He has seen many 'diabetic feet' and had recently identified a healing blister on bottom of my big toe. The pair of shoes set me back $125. Hopefully they will be worth the cost.

  1. Walking while wearing the Shape-Ups today was truly a new experience. By the end of my work day it seemed more natural to walk in the Skechers. One is forced to walk 'properly' because the outer sole is not flat, but curved a little.

We land on the heel of one foot after pushing off with the ball of the opposite foot. The Shape-Up design accentuates the proper walking action, our weight on each foot transferring from heel to toe. And that provides a bit of a workout for our leg and back muscles.

Anecdotal accounts by wearers often praise how good their feet feel at the end of the day.

Why would they want to feel their feet?

  2. I always love to buy composite toe safety shoes because of outstanding waterproof comfort, breathability and durability. They actually provides cushioning and shock absorption while reducing spike pressure.
