Global Warming

As we approach mid-December it seems incredible that we could get a very warm day this weekend. My first visit to California in the 60s was during winter. I then marveled at having short-sleeve weather during daytime in spite of very chill nights.

Even in present times I can be surprised and pleased when we get balmy days in winter. Colour me spoiled.

    S[in]… — You and my brother can keep your low daytime-high temperatures. Later this week Dayton's daytime highs will drop out of the 40s, into the 20s.

    Although we have been having rather nice weather here, once we get our permanent winter temperatures I expect some extremely chill days.

    I hope your brother is staying warm right now. I suspect they're in the midst of that big storm moving through the midwest.
